Men’s Wrestling: Three Raiders Advance to Top-3 Bracket at Wheaton Invitational

WHEATON, Ill. – The Mount Union men's wrestling team competed in day one of the 2024 Pete Willson-Wheaton Invitational on Friday.
 
Senior Jack Stanley (Broadview Heights, OH / Brecksville-Broadview Hts.) at 125, sophomore Nicholas Nettleton (Reading, PA / Exeter Township) at 157, and graduate student David Reinhart (Canfield, OH / Canfield) will be competing for 3rd place tomorrow.
 
Nettleton and Reinhart both won four matches on Friday, while Stanley won two.
 
The Purple Raiders are currently 18th out of 32 teams with 30.0 points.
 
The final and second day of the invitational starts at 11 a.m. on Saturday.
