ALLIANCE, Ohio – Mount Union's women's swimming and diving team fell in an Ohio Athletic Conference matchup 167-75 against John Carroll on Friday evening.
Top Scorers
- 1000-yard freestyle: senior Emma Kreber (Cranberry Twp., Pa. / Seneca Valley) finished second with a time of 11:25.77
- 200-yard freestyle: junior Abby Calaway (Berea / Berea-Midpark) won the event with a time of 1:59.35
- 50-yard freestyle: junior Isabelle Parr (Brunswick) finished second with a time of 26.53
- One-meter dive (5 dives): junior Claire Fried (Kent / Kent-Roosevelt) won the event with a score of 147.70
- 100-yard freestyle: Calaway won the event with a time of 53.73
- 500-yard freestyle: Kreber finished second with a time of 5:37.63
- One-meter dive (6 dives): Fried finished second with a score of 165.55
- 200-yard freestyle relay: team consisting of senior Emily Hauck (Avon Lake), junior Kayla Stewart (Marietta), sophomore Hannah Royer (Bristow, Va. / Patriot) and Parr finished second with a time of 1:47.25
The Raiders are on the road next when they travel to Oberlin for a tri-meet with Oberlin and Wooster on Saturday, November 9 at 1 p.m.
