TIFFIN, Ohio – The Mount Union women's wrestling team started its inaugural season as it competed in the Tiffin Open on Saturday.
Lyndsee Young led the way for the Purple Raiders with a third-place finish at 207, after winning by fall over Gabby Kennedy (Baldwin Wallace University) (Fall 0:35).
Emma Hanrahan finished fifth at 138, after winning by tech fall over Bluefield State's Saleh Ibtasam (TF 10-0).
The Raiders will next compete in the Adrian Invite in Adrian, Michigan on Sunday, Nov. 10.
