ALLIANCE, Ohio – The Mount Union men's wrestling team won 38-15 over Wilmington in a home Ohio Athletic Conference dual Tuesday night.
 
The Purple Raiders started the match with four-straight pins to take a 24-0 lead, courtesy of freshman Camryn Mitchell (Louisville, OH / Marlington) at 125, junior Nolan Frye (Valley View, OH / Walsh Jesuit) at 133, freshman Ridge Barkley (Morral, OH / Marion Harding) at 141, and freshman Carter Hill (Alliance, OH / Marlington) at 149.
 
Sophomore Hunter Newell (North Lima, OH / South Range) won in overtime, 8-5, at 157. Senior Bryce McCloskey (Greenville, PA / Reynolds) won at 197, and sophomore Steven Marra (Salem, Ohio / West Branch) closed out the night with a 17-2 technical fall victory.
 
Mount is back in action Saturday, Jan. 18 at the John Carroll Quad.
