Women’s Wrestling: Jirousek Places Runner-Up, Mount Union Competes at Warrior Open

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Mount Union women's wrestling team competed in Indiana Tech's Warrior Open on Saturday.
 
Freshman Emily Jirousek (Grafton, OH / Keystone) finished runner-up at 207, earning two pins along the way. Freshman Hailey Rose-Caldwell (Cincinnati, OH / Taylor) placed fourth at 180 as she also had two pins. Freshman Ariel Manning (Hawley, PA / Wallenpaupack) placed eighth at 131.
 
Mount Union finished 18th out of 30 teams with 56 points.
 
The Purple Raiders are back in action Sunday, Feb. 9 at the John Carroll Open.
