ASHTABULA, Ohio – The Mount Union women's tennis team concluded its fall schedule with a 4-3 win over Penn State Behrend (7-1), handing the Lions their first loss of the season, on Sunday.
Mount Union won four singles matches as senior
Amelia Francisco (Canfield / Canfield) won no. 1 (7-5, 6-3), junior
Emily Borchert (Richfield / Holy Name) won no. 3 (6-1, 6-1), sophomore
Hannah Neely (Hartville / Lake) won no. 4 (6-1, 6-3), and senior
Chloe Bancroft (Madison / Madison) won no. 6 in dramatic fashion, 7-6, 7-5.
