NASHVILLE, TN – The Mount Union women's wrestling team earned three dual wins at the Gator Boot Duals, hosted by Luther College, on Friday.
Sophomore
Emma Hanrahan (Tipp City, OH / Tippecanoe) at 160 and freshman
Abigail Mozden (Alliance, OH / Alliance) at 131 went undefeated with a 5-0 record each.
Overall, the Purple Raiders went 3-2. Mount Union earned wins over Huntingdon (38-19), Loras (41-10), and Randolph (30-14). The Raiders lost 27-16 to No. 9 nationally ranked Emmanuel and 30-13 to Simpson.
Freshman
Gabrielle Gartin (Alliance, OH / Chippewa) at 124 and freshman
Lori Grimes (Raymond, OH / Marysville) at 180 both went 4-1 in their respective weight classes.
Mount Union is back on the mats Monday, January 12, at the Bethany/Hiram Dual Meet in Bethany, WV.
