TIFFIN, Ohio – In its inaugural season, the Mount Union women's wrestling team, under the guidance of head coach Clay Wenger, had three qualify for the National Collegiate Women's Wrestling Championships with their outstanding performances at regionals on Saturday.
 
Sophomore Lyndsee Young (Mansfield, OH / Madison Comprehensive) at 207 and freshman Karlie Stith (Salem, OH / Salem) at 145 both finished runner-up, while freshman
Emma Hanrahan (Tipp City, OH / Tippecanoe) placed third at 138. The top-4 finishes in each weight classes qualified for nationals.
 
Additionally, freshman Ariel Manning (Hawley, PA / Wallenpaupack Area) was a regional placer in sixth at 131.
 
Nationals will take place on March 7-8 at Xtream Arena in Coralville, Iowa.
