Women’s Wrestling: Hanrahan Wins Two Matches at Nationals

CORALVILLE, Iowa – In its inaugural season, the Mount Union women's wrestling team competed at the 2025 National Collegiate Women's Wrestling Championships. Freshman Emma Hanrahan (Tipp City, OH / Tippecanoe) led the Purple Raiders with two wins at 138.

Also representing the first-year team under head coach Clay Wenger were sophomore Lyndsee Young (Mansfield, OH / Madison Comprehensive) at 207 and freshman Karlie Stith (Salem, OH / Salem) at 145.

Hanrahan finishes her freshman campaign with a team-high 35 wins, with a team-best 16 technical falls. Stith led the team in pins (15), while second on the team in wins (25). Young was second on the squad in pins (14), to go along with 22 victories.

The NCWWC Championships took place in Coralville, Iowa, at the Xtreme Arena.
