Women’s Tennis: Raiders Start Spring Break Trip with First Shutout of the Season

HILTON HEAD S.C. - The Mount Union women's tennis team started its spring break trip with a 7-0 shutout over Western New England, for its first shutout of the season.

Senior Amelia Francisco (Canfield / Canfield) won no. 1 singles, 6-1, 6-1, and teamed up with sophomore Jillian Lohnes (Alliance / Alliance) for a 6-1 win at no. 1 doubles.

The Purple Raiders will next play Messiah on Thursday, March 12 at 2:30 p.m.
