Men’s Tennis: Raiders Fall to Non-Conference Foe Earlham

ALLIANCE, Ohio - The Mount Union men's tennis team lost, 5-2, to Earlham at home on Thursday.

Senior Elliott Warner (New Philadelphia / New Philadelphia) and sophomore Nick Sziraky (Uniontown / Green) teamed up for a 7-6 (8-6) No. 1 doubles win. Junior Andrew Cavett (Beaver, Pa. / Beaver Area) and freshman Carson Arfaras (Canfield / Canfield) won 7-5 at No. 2 doubles to secure the doubles point.

Freshman Gabe McDade-Povick (Dover / Dover) continues to impress with a 6-0, 6-1 No. 6 singles win. 

Mount Union drops to 8-7, while Earlham improves to 7-4.

The Raiders return to conference action with a road match at Ohio Northern on Saturday, April 11, at 1 p.m.
