ALLIANCE, Ohio - The Mount Union men's tennis team lost, 6-1, at home to Otterbein in Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) action on Thursday.
The Cardinals improve to 5-8 overall and 1-0 in the OAC, while the Raiders drop to 9-9 overall and 0-2 in the league.
Freshman
Gabe McDade-Povick (Dover / Dover) earned the point for the Raiders with a 6-2, 6-2 win at No. 6 singles. McDade-Povick also teamed up with junior
Jacob Timonere (Ashtabula / St. John) for a 6-2 win at No. 3 doubles; however, Otterbein won the doubles point, winning No. 1 and No. 2 doubles.
Mount Union wraps up regular season play on Saturday at Baldwin Wallace with a 1 p.m. start.
