ALLIANCE, Ohio - The Mount Union women's tennis team won its first Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) match in shutout fashion, 7-0, at home—its third shutout victory of the season.

Chloe Bancroft (Madison / Madison) and sophomore
Marianna Farmakidis (Green / Green) clinched the doubles point in style with a 6-0 shutout at No. 3.

Amelia Francisco (Canfield / Canfield) won No. 1 singles in a thriller, 7-5, 7-6 (7-4). The Raiders dominated the remaining singles matches, including complete 6-0, 6-0 shutouts by Borchert at No. 4 and Farmakidis at No. 6.
Mount Union improves to 7-9 overall and 1-2 in the conference, while the Yellow Jackets drop to 8-5 overall and 0-2 in the league.
The Raiders are back in action Wednesday, April 22, at Penn State Behrend with a 4 PM start.
