LORAIN, Ohio—The Mount Union men's cross country team grabbed a perfect score at the LCCC Commodore Open Friday afternoon.
 
The Purple Raiders took home the top seven scoring spots in the race today.
 
Cohen Boyce (Alliance / Marlington) and Liam Blake (Alliance / Marlington) worked side by side with times of 27:47.2 and 24:47.3.
 
Jake Kapper (Bolivar / Tuscarawas Valley), Luke Ryan (Alliance / Marlington), Carter Evans (Palmyra / Southeast) and Jalen Randelman (New London) grouped up for spots three through six with times of 28:13.2 for Kapper and 28:13.3 for the other three.
 
Marek France (East Amherst, N.Y. / Williamsville East) rounded out the top seven with a time of 28:34.2.
 
Mount Union will now head to Cedarville next Friday to compete in the All-Ohio Championships.
