ALLIANCE, Ohio —The University of Mount Union is ranked among the nation's leaders in NCAA Division III Men's Basketball attendance finishing 11th.
The Purple Raiders went 16-0 this season in the McPherson Academic and Athletic Complex (MAAC). Over the past three years Mount Union has gone 38-3 at the MAAC.
The Raiders won a school-record 27 games in the 2019-20 season with its third overall appearance in the NCAA Tournament winning both games at home against Cairn (Pa.) 107-76 and York (Pa.) 90-77 to run its winning streak to a school-record 19 straight.
Mount Union averaged 842 fans during the 16 games hosted in the MAAC. Hope led the nation averaging 2,214 fans per game. Wittenberg (1,392) was second followed by Wooster (1,260), Marietta (1,250) and Calvin (1,246).
Wisconsin-Stevens Point (1,097) finished sixth with Randolph-Macon (950), Saint John's (MN) (907), Whitworth (905) and Augustana (IL) (897) rounding out the Top-10.
