University of Mount Union

Matt Sindlinger is in his third year as the head men's and women's golf coach at Mount Union.

In his two years at the helm, he led the women's team to a pair of Ohio Athletic Conference titles and two appearances in the NCAA Women's Golf Championships while the men finished second and seventh in the conference.

For his efforts he has been OAC Women's Golf Coach of the Year in both 2017 and 2018.

He has been at Mount Union for 11 years prior to taking over as head coach as he was an assistant golf coach, a one-year stint as head women's coach in 2004-05 and also as an assistant women's basketball coach. 

Sindlinger has been a golf teaching professional for over 20 years and is the head pro at Riceland Golf Club in Orrville, Ohio. The Waynedale High School graduate played college golf at Malone University, graduated in 1997 and spent five years playing professionally on the Tornado Tour.
