Sonita Harris enters her 4th year as an Assistant Track and Field Coach with Mount Union. 

Harris was the Head Boys and Girls Track Coach for over 30 years at Michigan High Schools. Harris was a five time MHSAA coach of the year. She has coached a top 3 state individual or relay in all 17 events for men and women, including 14 state champions. 

She is a graduate of Kent State University, where she threw javelin, high jumped and ran sprints.
