ALLIANCE – The No. 11 ranked Mount Union wrestling team scored a 38-6 win over Otterbein in an Ohio Athletic Conference dual match Tuesday at Timken Gymnasium.

The Purple Raiders are now 11-3 overall and 3-0 in the OAC while Otterbein falls to 13-3 overall and 2-1 in the OAC. Mount Union has won nine consecutive conference duals dating back to the 2017-18 season.

After a forfeit at 125, Mount Union won seven of the nine contested matches.

The Raiders were led by pins from No. 3 ranked Jordin James (Bedford) at 141, Michael McIntire (Akron / St. Vincent-St. Mary) at 165 and No. 10 ranked Grant Martin (Hartville / Lake) along with a tech fall from No. 3 ranked Luke Hernandez (Nashport / Tri-Valley) at 149 pounds.

Mount Union next hosts the OAC Duals Saturday, Jan. 25 at 10 a.m. in Peterson Field House.
