University of Mount Union

Gavin Speelman is in his third season as an assistant wrestling coach at Mount Union.

Speelman had previously served as an assistant coach at Mansfield Madison High School. He also founded and coached SW Force, a wrestling club whose mission is to promote youth wrestling within Richland County and give wrestlers the opportunity to compete year-round. Speelman has also wrestled and coached with the Ohio Greco National Team.

Speelman has a bachelor's degree from Ohio State and a master's degree from Mount Union.
