TIFFIN, Ohio -- Mount Union's women's soccer team was drenched Saturday dropping a 5-2 game at Heidelberg on a rain soaked Saturday at the Hidden Valley Soccer Complex in Tiffin.
The loss send the Purple Raiders record to 5-8-2 overall and 1-5-1 in the OAC while Heidelberg is 6-9-1 overall and 2-5 in the OAC.
Heidelberg scored a pair of goals in the first 22 minutes and went on to lead 4-0 at halftime.
The Raiders got the board with a Keeley Malone (Chagrin Falls) scored in the 80th minute.
The Berg tacked on another score in the 83rd minute before Mount Union got a goal from Brit McCauley (Ontario) for the 5-2 final.
Mount Union closes out the regular season at home with a pair of matches at Mount Union Stadium against Baldwin Wallace on Wednesday, Oct. 30 at 7 p.m. and Ohio Northern Saturday, Nov. 2 at 7 p.m.
