Clyde Ross is in 20th year as an assistant coach at Mount Union in charge of the kickers and punters. 

Ross played at Morris Harvey (W.Va.) College (now University of Charleston) in 1955-56 and Southern Illinois University in 1957-58.   A 1969 graduate of Bowling Green State University, Ross was an assistant football coach at the Falcons in 1968.  In 1969 he moved on to be an assistant at United High School in Hanoverton, Ohio, and from 1970 to 1976 served as an assistant coach at Salem High School.
