Josh Ward

Josh Ward is in his first year as the head assistant women's basketball coach at Mount Union

Ward had spent two years as the assistant at Mount Union from 2015-17 which produced an NCAA Tournament appearance and Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament Title in the 2015-16 season. 

Ward was previously the head coach at Marian University (Wis.) for four years before that he had assistant coaching stints at Albion and Adrian Colleges and a head coaching position at SUNY Canton.

A native of Hermitage, Pa., Ward played college basketball at Ohio Valley University in Vienna, W.Va. and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Wellness Education.  He would go on to earn a master's degree in Health Promotion and Exercise Science from California University of Pennsylvania.
