Maggie Sabatino joins the Purple Raider coaching staff in the fall of 2026
Sabatino spent the 2025 season coaching at Marietta.
Sabatino was a five-year varsity letter winner and collected 1,234 careers kills for Marietta, good for the second-most in program history. She helped the team advance to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in school history in 2024.
Sabatino was named to the All-Ohio Athletic Conference First Team four times and was named Player of the Year in 2024. She was also named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association All-American team three times in her career.
Sabatino also gained valuable coaching experience over the past three seasons. She coached teams in the Pioneer Volleyball Club program for two years and worked for Elite Sports Ohio for the past three summers, running their summer camps and clinics. She has also worked with kids of all ages providing private lessons for the past several years.
Originally from Alliance, Ohio, Sabatino received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology in 2024 and is currently working on her master’s degree.
