CINCINNATI, Ohio--Mount Union's volleyball team (17-4) defeated Mount St. Joseph (30-26, 30-19, 33-31) and Anderson (30-22, 30-25, 30-19) to finish 3-1 overall at the Mount St. Joseph Tournament on Saturday.

Day #2 Highlights

Against host team Mount St. Joseph, the Raiders were led by Melissa Mahnke with 12 kills, Amanda Kohler with 11 kills and 16 digs and Tracy Reschke tallied 42 assists.

In the final match of the day versus Anderson (IN), Mahnke, Kohler, and Sarah Paker each had 13 kills respectively. Sarah Dean led the team in digs with 24 and Alexi Sawayda added 15. Reschke finished the match with 44 assists.

Day #1 Highlights

The Raiders fell to #13 ranked Ohio Northern (28-30, 30-20, 26-30, 30-23, 15-12), but rallied to defeat Baldwin-Wallace (30-27, 30-22, 21-30, 26-30, 15-12) on Friday.

Tracy Reschke finished the day with 72 assists, teammates Sarah Dean had 39 digs, Sarah Parker had 20 kills and four blocks, and Melissa Mahnke had 27 kills.

Mount Union will next travel to OAC rival John Carroll on Tuesday, October 2 beginning at 7 p.m.
