(ALLIANCE, OH)--Mount Union College's men's soccer team lost 2-1 to Marietta College in an Ohio Athletic Conference match on chilly Tuesday evening in Alliance.

The loss makes Mount Union 6-11-1 overall and 1-7 in the OAC, while Marietta now stands at 9-5-3 overall and 4-3-1 in the OAC.

The Pioneers scored the game's first goal in the 18th minute and took a 1-0 lead at the break.

Mount Union came out and scored a goal in the first 45 seconds of the second half as junior Chris Bonda (Mentor/Notre Dame Cathedral Latin) scored off a corner kick from sophomore Matt McCain (Homeworth/West Branch) to tie the game at 1-1.

Marietta followed with the game-winner in the 60th minute.

The Raiders close out the season against Heidelberg College Saturday at 7 p.m. at Mount Union Stadium.
