(UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS, OH)--On a rainy fall afternoon, the Mount Union College men's soccer team suffered a 4-0 loss to John Carroll University in an Ohio Athletic Conference match Wednesday in University Heights.

The loss leaves Mount Union at 5-6-1 overall and 0-2 in the OAC, while John Carroll moves to 5-4-1 overall and 1-1 in the OAC.

The Blue Streaks scored goals in the ninth minute and again in the 35th minute to lead 2-0 at halftime.  John Carroll extended the score to 3-0 with a goal in the 73rd minute, then tacked on its final goal in the game's final minute.

Mount Union returns home for an OAC match against Ohio Northern University Saturday at 7 p.m. in Mount Union Stadium in Alliance.
