(WASHINGTON, PA)--Mount Union College's men's soccer team saw
its two-game win streak stopped Wednesday with a 2-0 loss at
Washington & Jefferson College in Washington, PA.
The loss evens the Purple Raiders record at 3-3 overall, while
Washington & Jefferson stands at 2-3-1 on the campaign.
The Presidents got a goal in the 12th minute and
another right before halftime in the 41st minute to take a 2-0
lead at the break.
Mount Union junior goal keeper Bobby Petras (Columbia
Station/Columbia) had four saves but saw his scoreless streak end
at 191:11.
The Raiders continue this three-game road swing back in Western
Pennsylvania Saturday at 2 p.m. at LaRoche College in Pittsburgh,
PA.
