Men's Soccer Hangs Tough But Falls 2-0 at Capital

Capital moves to 13-4-1 overall and 5-1-1 in the OAC, while Mount Union falls to 8-8-1 overall and 1-5-1 in the OAC.

Brian Zembower gave Capital a 1-0 lead with a score in the 22nd minute and the Crusaders could not put the Raiders away until the OAC's all-time scoring leader Steven McCarthy knocked in a penalty kick with just 1:10 left in the game.

Freshman Joey Merlo (Niles/Cardinal Mooney) tallied a team high four shots for Mount Union.

The Raiders play Wednesday at 4 pm at Marietta.
