The Purple Raiders, who saw a two-game winning streak end
to fall to 5-4 overall and 3-2 in the OAC, never led in the
contest as The Student Prince, who won for the seventh time in
eight games and move to 7-3 and 4-1 in the OAC,went into halftime
with a 22 point lead and never looked back.
Junior David Pellerite (Olmstead Falls/Olmstead Falls) with 13
points and six rebounds along with freshman Matt Kiger
(Williamstown, WV/Williamstown) who came off the bench with 13
points, while sophomore Jimmy Wood (Wintersville/Indian Creek) also
had 12 points as the double digit scorers for the Raiders.
Travis Kinn led Heidelberg with a game-high 22 points.
The Raiders will travel to Lexington, KY to take on Transylvania
(KY) Tuesday, December 22 at 6 pm.
