(CINCINNATI, OH)--Mount Union College's volleyball team ran its record to 6-0 on the season with a 3-0 (25-16, 25-21, 25-23) sweep of Thomas More (KY) College on the first day of The College of Mount St. Joseph Volleyball Invitational in Cincinnati.

Senior Melissa Mahnke (North Royalton/North Royalton) had a season-high 20 digs to go along with a team-best 12 kills in the win.

Junior Sarah Dean (Strongsville/Walsh Jesuit) posted 22 digs, while sophomore Julie Radigan (Olmsted Falls/Olmsted Falls) had 29 assists for the Purple Raiders.

Thomas More falls to 1-5 on the season.

Mount Union stays in the Queen City and takes on Denison University (10 am) and tournament host Mt. St. Joseph (12 pm) Saturday.
