(ALLIANCE, OH)--Mount Union College's volleyball team improved its record to 11-2 on the season with a 3-2 (25-16, 23-25, 22-25, 25-22, 15-5) victory over Hiram College on Wednesday night in Alliance, OH.
Senior Melissa Mahnke (North Royalton/North Royalton) set the pace offensively for the Purple Raiders with 21 kills. Sophomore Julie Radigan (Olmsted Falls/Olmsted Falls) added a season-high 48 assists for the Purple Raiders.
Junior Sarah Dean (Strongsville/Walsh Jesuit) was strong on defense again posting a season-high 34 digs, while senior Nicole Baka (Streetsboro/Streetsboro) and Mahnke each had 13 digs.
Hiram fell to (5-5) on the season.
Volleyball is in action again on Saturday the 26th at 2 pm against Carnegie Mellon University at home.
