COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The Mount Union volleyball team swept Ohio Athletic Conference opponent Capital and clinched a spot in the OAC Tournament on Saturday.

Taylor Webb (Geneva/Geneva) led the Purple Raider offense with 11 kills while Monica Hupertz (Willoughby Hills/Beaumont) and Roni Schroeder (Shelby/Shelby) finished with 10 kills apiece in the 25-19, 25-18, 25-18 decision.

Also for Mount Union, Julie Radigan (Olmsted Falls/Olmsted Falls) made 40 assists. Sarah Dean (Strongsville/Walsh Jesuit) and Katie Kmieck (Lakewood/Lakewood) came through with 23 and 12 digs, respectively, and Leah Hirsch (Frankfort/Adena) compiled four total blocks.

For Capital (13-18, 2-5), Sanaya El-Naggar and Emily Heitmeyer smacked nine kills each. Katy Becker had 27 assists and Elissa Foster made 22 digs.

The Raiders (19-8, 5-2) will return to the court on Tuesday with a 7 p.m. match OAC foe Muskingum.
