TIFFIN, Ohio -- The Mount Union volleyball season came to an end as the fourth-seed Purple Raiders dropped a 3-1 decision to top-seed Heidelberg in an Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament semifinal.

The Berg (31-5) rebounded from the first set in which the visiting Raiders (21-11) won, 25-18. Heidelberg won the final three sets, 25-16, 25-22 and 25-12.

Monica Hupertz (Willoughby Hills/Beaumont) led the Raider attack with 12 kills while Deanna Glass (Medina/Medina) and Taylor Webb (Geneva/Geneva) put down seven apiece.

Julie Radigan (Olmsted Falls/Olmsted Falls) contributed 27 assists and 13 digs while Sarah Dean (Strongsville/Walsh Jesuit) made 25 digs.

Marian Bevington had 20 kills for the winners, Rachel Ferguson made 32 assists and Brittany Donelan finished with 33 digs.

Heidelberg will take on Ohio Northern in Saturday's OAC final. The Polar Bears defeated Otterbein, 3-2, in Friday's earlier match.
