#25 Women's Basketball Rallies in Second Half to Make OAC Championship Game With 71-61 Win Over Baldwin-Wallace

Lauren Forquer (North Canton/Green) scored a season-best and game-high 15 points while Rosa LaMattina (Westlake/Westlake) scored all 13 of her points in the second half and Tessa Pohovey (Strasburg/Tusky Valley) had 11 points to lead Mount Union to its first OAC Championship game for the first time since 2001.

The Raiders will play top-seeded Capital, a 67-59 winner over No. 5 seed Ohio Northern, in Saturday's 3 pm title game with the winner claiming the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.

Amanda Schroeder had 14 points and Ariel Brough had 12 to lead Baldwin-Wallace.

Baldwin-Wallace was in control in the first half leading 31-23 at the half.  Mount Union converted 10-of-35 shots (28.6-percent) in the period.

Mount Union scored the first eight points of the second half and the game went back and forth until the decisive run.
