The Purple Raiders were led by junior Zach Perry (Hudson/Hudson) who won at first singles 1-6,6-1,1-0 (11-9) and at second doubles with senior partner Travis Papay (Chagrin Falls/Kenston) by a score of 8-3.

Also picking up two wins for Mount Union was freshman Nate Fockler (North Canton/Hoover) who won 7-5,6-2 at sixth singles and won 8-1 with senior partner Brian Widdoes (Reynoldsburg/Reynoldsburg) at third doubles.

The Purple Raiders have tomorrow off, but continue their play Wednesday down in Hilton Head,SC when they take on Charleston (WV) at 12:30 pm.
