The Purple Raiders were led by junior Zach Perry (Hudson/Hudson) who won 7-5, 7-5 at first singles and 8-4 with senior partner Travis Papay (Chagrin Falls/Kenston) at second doubles.

Papay also won at fourth singles by a score of 6-1, 6-2 to lead Mount Union to a victory.

Allegheny fell to 6-7 on the season with the loss.

Mount Union stays on the road traveling to Muskingum for an Ohio Athletic Conference match Saturday at 1 pm in New Concord.
