Box Score 2 CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Mount Union's women's volleyball team claimed
two victories on Friday -- a sweep of Oberlin and a 3-1 decision
over Case Western Reserve -- on day one of the Marcia French
Memorial at Case Western.

Glass (Medina/Medina) made eight kills while Roni Schroeder
(Shelby/Shelby) had seven for the Purple Raiders (3-4) in the
team's 25-12, 25-9, 25-22 match against Oberlin. Julie Radigan
(Olmsted Falls/Olmsted Falls) and Katie Kmieck
(Lakewood/Lakewood) added 13 assists and Sarah Dean
(Strongsville/Walsh Jesuit) finished with 17 digs.
Mount Union then defeated Case Western, 25-17, 25-12, 21-25,
25-23.
Schroeder led the way with 15 kills while Glass and Monica Hupertz
(Willougby Hills/Beaumont) came through with 13 apiece. Dean and Michelle
Simmons (Uniontown/Green) had 22 and 16 digs, respectively.
Radigan made 38 assists.
The Purple Raiders will finish competition at the tournament at
Baldwin-Wallace on Saturday with matches against Westminster (Pa.)
and Franciscan.
