HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. -- The Mount Union men's tennis team dropped a 6-3 decisoion to Catholic (D.C.) on Friday.
Zach Perry (Hudson/Hudson) and Yasuhiro Anno (Fukucka, Japan/Kyushu Kokusai Daigaku Fuzoku) won their singles matches and teamed for a doubles victory.
Perry claimed the No. 1 singles point against Bernardo Nogales, 6-0, 6-2, while Anno downed Brian Bradley at fourth singles, 7-6 (7-5), 6-4.
At second doubles, Perry and Anno defeated Nogales and Bradley, 8-5.
The Purple Raiders (2-6) will return to action on Saturday, Mar. 26, with a 1 p.m. match at OAC foe Heidelberg.
