ALLIANCE, Ohio -- The Mount Union men's tennis team suffered its first loss in Ohio Athletic Conference competition with a 7-2 defeat to Baldwin-Wallace on Wednesday.
Jeff Looker (Stow/Stow-Munroe Falls) was the lone singles winner for the Purple Raiders, claming a 4-6, 6-2, 13-11, decision over Brad Minrovic in No. 6 play.
In doubles action, Yasuhiro Anno (Fukucka, Japan/Kyushu Kokusai Daigaku Fuzoku) and Zach Perry (Hudson/Hudson) teamed for an 8-3 victory a No. 2 pairs against Minrovic and Alex Trzeciak.
Mount Union will return to action on Saturday with a 1 p.m. home match versus Otterbein.
