CLEVELAND, Ohio—The Mount Union volleyball team rallied to win the final two sets in defeating Case Western Reserve by a score of 3-2 in front of a raucous crowd in Cleveland Wednesday night.

The Purple Raiders (4-1) won the first set, dropped the next two sets, and regrouped to win the final two sets in their 25-18, 23-25, 26-28, 25-21, 15-5 decision.

Julie Radigan (Olmsted Falls/Olmsted Falls) and Taylor Webb (Geneva/Geneva) continued their strong performances from this past weekend at the Mount Union Invitational, where they were selected to the all-tournament team. Radigan had 47 assists while Webb had 17 kills.

Maya Brown (Tiffin/Tiffin Columbian) and Rachel Adolph (Findlay/Van Buren) added 12 kills and 10 kills, respectively. Kristen Gromes (Navarre/Fairless) had a team-high 25 digs and Deanna Glass (Medina/Medina) added six total blocks.

Tricia McCutchan had a team-high 15 kills and 14 digs for the Spartans (3-2). Breana Freeman added 43 assists.

Mount Union returns to action this weekend when they travel to Rochester, N.Y. to participate in the Golden Flyer Invitational, hosted by Nazareth (N.Y.) College. The Purple Raiders are slated for four matches.
