WILMINGTON, Ohio -- Freshman Kristen Kayser (Oregon/Clay) helped rattle off 15 straight points for the 14th-ranked Mount Union volleyball team in the third set on Saturday morning en route to a 3-0 win over Ohio Athletic Conference opponent Wilmington.

The win marked the 16th for the Purple Raiders in 2012.

Sophomore Nicole Snyder (Mentor/Lake Catholic) led Mount Union in kills with 13.  Sophomore Sara Brown (Willoughby/Willoughby South) followed with five.  Senior Kristen Gromes (Navarre/Fairless) tallied eight digs for the Raiders and sophomore Brittany Woodard (Diamond/Southeast) post 14 assists in the three-set win (25-13, 25-15, 25-7). 

Mount Union improved to 3-0 in the OAC and 16-5 overall.  Wilmington fell to 7-14 (0-3 OAC).

The Raiders next take the court on Tuesday (Oct. 9) night at John Carroll.  Match time is slated for 7 p.m.
