HILTON HEAD, S.C.—Mount Union's men's tennis team claimed a 5-4 victory over Eastern Nazarene (Mass.) in in their first of four matches during the spring break on Monday.

Brothers Nate Fockler and Nick Fockler (North Canton/Hoover) earned three points for the Purple Raiders as both were victorious in singles and they teamed up to win first doubles.

Nate won first singles, 6-4, 6-0, over Brandon Lum while Nick handled Sam McKay-Corkum, 6-2, 6-2, in the No. 2 singles match. The duo also defeated McKay-Corkum and Austin Steelman, 8-5, in No. 1 doubles.

Ben Swope (North Huntingdon, Pa./Norwin) and Jeff Looker (Stow/Stow-Munroe Falls) also earned singles win for the Raiders. Swopr defeated Sam Son, 6-2, 6-2, in No. 4 singles while Looker took down Eric Johnson, 6-2, 4-6, 12-10, in No. 6 singles.

The Raiders (4-2) will be in action again on Wednesday when they take on Roanoke (Va.) at 8 am.
