ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- The 19th-ranked Mount Union women's volleyball team knocked off Clarkson (N.Y.) but fell to #13 Cortland State (N.Y.) on day one of the Golden Flyer Invitational on Friday night.

Match 1: #19 Mount Union 3, Clarkson 0 (29-27, 25-13, 25-19)

Match 2: #13 Cortland State 3, #19 Mount Union 1 (23-25, 28-26, 25-20, 25-16)

Mount Union's overall record now stands at 3-3.  They will play Fredonia State and Nazareth at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., respectively, tomorrow to wrap up the Golden Flyer Invitational, hosted by Nazareth College, in Rochester, N.Y.
