ALLIANCE, Oho - - Mount Union's men's tennis team fell to Baldwin Wallace 7-2 in an Ohio Athletic Conference tennis match Saturday afternoon at the Whitehill Tennis Courts.
With the victory, Baldwin Wallace remains undefeated with an 18-0 record and moves to 3-0 in the OAC, while Mount Union falls to 10-3 and 1-2 in the conference.
Sophomore Nick Fockler (North Canton/Hoover) and freshman Dominic Marino (Cuyahoga Falls/Cuyahoga Falls) each recorded wins in their singles matches.
Fockler defeated Kyle Patterson 6-1, 2-0 in the no. 2 singles match and Marino defeated Brad Minrovic 6-3, 6-4 in the no. 6 singles match. Patterson withdrew from the no. 2 singles match due to an injury.
Mount Union returns to action Tuesday when they travel to University Heights, Ohio to face John Carroll at 3:30 p.m.
