Box Score TIFFIN, Ohio— Mount Union men's soccer team was unable to bounce back after three Heidelberg goals early in the first half which led to a 3-0 loss Saturday.
The Purple Raiders drop to 7-7, 1-4 in the OAC, on the year while the Student Princes move to 7-5-3, 3-1-1 in the OAC.
Heidelberg's Kyle Boone scored one minute into the game giving the Student Princes the 1-0 lead.
Two more goals in the first half gave Heidelberg the 3-0 lead heading into halftime.
A scoreless second half for either team would lead to the final score of 3-0 with Mount Union being outshot 7-19.
Mount Union returns home to take on Muskingum for an OAC match Wednesday, Oct. 22 at 7 pm.
