MARIETTA, Ohio-- Mount Union's men's soccer team suffered a 4-0 loss in an Ohio Athletic Conference matchup against  Marietta Wednesday, Oct. 8 at Mount Union Stadium.

The Purple Raiders are now 6-5 (0-2 OAC) on the year while the Pioneers advance to 4-6 (2-0 OAC) on the season.

Marietta got on the board early in the first half with a goal by Michael Nauls in the 13th minute to put the Pioneers up 1-0.

Marietta would score three more goals in the first half to end the game 4-0.

Freshman Brian Strawser (Cincinnati/St. Xavier) got the start for the Raiders making four saves with Marietta outshooting the Raiders 15-12.

Mount Union continues OAC action when they host Ohio Northen Saturday, Oct. 11 at 1 pm at Mount Union Stadium.
