ALLIANCE, Ohio -- Mount Union's men's tennis team fell 7-2 at Capital in an Ohio Athletic Conference match Saturday in Columbus.
The Purple Raiders fall to 9-3 overall and 2-3 in the OAC, while Capital improves to 6-6 overall and 3-2 in the OAC.
Mount Union freshman Jeff Williams (Cleveland/Lakewood St. Edward) had a hand in each of the Raiders two points as he teamed with fellow freshman Rob DeMarco (North Canton/Hoover) to score an 8-5 win at No. 2 doubles then he scored a three-set win at No. 4 singles.
Mount Union next hosts Muskingum in an OAC match Tuesday, April 15 at 3:30 pm in Alliance.
