ALLIANCE, Ohio -- Mount Union's men's tennis team shut out Marietta, 9-0, in an Ohio Athletic Conference match Wednesday in Alliance.

The Purple Raiders are 9-2 overall and 2-2 in the OAC while Marietta falls to 2-6 overall and 0-2 in the OAC.

Malcolm Leake (Fremont/Ross) paired with Ben Swope (North Huntingdon, Pa./Norwin) to score an 8-1 at No. 2 doubles then finished off the shutout with a three-set win at No. 1 singles.

Mount Union goes on the road to play Saturday at Capital in an OAC match at 1 pm Saturday.
