Mount Union d. Geneva (Pa.) 25-17, 25-17, 24-26, 25-19

BEAVER FALLS, Pa. -- No. 7 ranked Mount Union claimed a 3-1 win at Geneva (Pa.) in a non-conference volleyball match Wednesday in Beaver Falls, Pa.

The Purple Raiders improve to 14-1 overall while Geneva falls to 10-6 on the season.

Mount Union won the first two sets and narrowly missed the straight sets sweep with a 26-24 loss in the third before taking the match with a 25-19 win in the fourth.

The Raiders were led by Sarah Schleich (Westfield Center/Cloverleaf) with 31 assists and Lauren Mastroine (Orrville/Orrville) with 26 digs. 

The Raiders return home Saturday at 2 pm hosting matches against nationally ranked No. 20 DePauw (Ind.) and Defiance at the McPherson Academic and Athletic Complex.
