ALLIANCE, Ohio – Mount Union's men's soccer team suffered a 1-0 loss to John Carroll in an Ohio Athletic Conference game Wednesday at Mount Union Stadium.

Jesse Marinaro scored off a corner kick in the 77th minute for John Carroll (11-4-1, 6-2 OAC)

Mount Union (8-7-1, 3-5 OAC) got yeoman's work in goal from Dylan Lias (Cuyahoga Falls/Cuyahoga Falls) with five saves as the Blue Streaks had a 16-4 advantage in shots.

Liam McIntosh got the shutout in goal for John Carroll.

Mount Union wraps up the regular season Saturday at 7 p.m. at Otterbein in Westerville. The Purple Raiders will need a win to clinch a bid in next week's six-team OAC Tournament.
